IT Home May 6th news, Microsoft this evening officially released a 12-inch version of the Surface Pro, smaller than the existing 13-inch device and offers a fanless design. The new Surface Pro will be available in three colors: regular default platinum, a bold new purple, and a deep blue-green called “Ocean” with a 12-inch 2196 x 1464 up to 90 Hz (default 60 Hz) touchscreen. The new phone only comes with two USB Type-C 3.2 ports. The 12-inch Surface Pro has two cameras: a 1080p camera with Windows Hello facial recognition, and a 10MP rear camera. The new phone starts at $799 (IT Home Note: the current exchange rate is about 5787 yuan), and it is equipped with a Snapdragon X Plus (8-core) processor (about 5,511 yuan), 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage. Users can choose the 512GB storage version for $899 (about 6,511 yuan now). The two-in-one tablet’s keyboard starts at $149. The Surface Slim Pen is also sold separately at $129. Microsoft says the new keyboard can be laid flat “for a solid and quiet typing experience” and folds flat on the Surface Pro when users want to write or draw.
