Apple’s new product official announcement: June 9th, officially released!

Apple’s 36th Worldwide Developers Conference will begin on Monday, June 9, 2025 and conclude on Friday, June 13. WWDC 2025 will host online meetings and labs so that developers around the world can learn about new software features and how to integrate them into their apps. Since 2020,

WWDC has been the first to allow developers in many countries to interact with Apple engineers for app help. The live WWDC event will take place on June 9 at Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Invited attendees will be able to watch the keynote and State of the Union addresses at Apple Park, as well as meet with Apple employees. WWDC offers developers and Apple customers an early access to the new iPadOS, iOS, watchOS, macOS, visionOS, and Apple tvOS, with Apple’s developer app serving as a one-stop hub for all the new features debuting at WWDC. Each year, WWDC kicks off with a keynote event where Apple introduces all the new software features and sometimes new hardware. This year, we’re looking forward to seeing iOS 19, tvOS 19, macOS 16, iPadOS 19, visionOS 3, and watchOS 12, and there’s a chance we’ll see new hardware like the Mac Pro, but there’s no word yet on new devices. Software is a major focus at WWDC, iOS 19 will introduce major design changes throughout the operating system, and iPadOS 19 and macOS 16 will also get an updated look. Apple will update the styling of icons, menus, apps, windows and system buttons, and plans to simplify navigation and controls. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman described the design change as the biggest update iOS since iOS 7. Apple’s new design is loosely based on the Apple Vision Pro interface, which features circular app icons, menus and other interface elements with plenty of translucency, a glassy floating design of buttons and other interface items visible, and tweaks Apple has made throughout the operating system. Apps could see an interface update with a more rounded button design, icons could be overhauled to look more like circles, and most apps could have a pill-shaped bottom navigation bar. Additionally, Apple is working on an AI-based battery management feature to extend battery life for all iPhone, plus AirPods could have new features, as well as improved health apps with nutrition tracking and other options. macOS 16 Like iOS 19 and iPadOS 19, macOS 16 will include a completely revamped design with a fresh look for icons, menus, apps, and more. The new design will bring more consistency between macOS and iOS. macOS 16 will use the new name based on California landmarks, but there’s no hint yet as to what Apple might choose. When Apple switched to California landmarks instead of big cats, the company trademarked a long list of options. Some of the names yet to be used include Condor, Mammoth, Grizzly, Diablo, Pacific, Redwood, Tiburon, Rincon, Shasta, and Skyline. The watchOS 12 system will include some visionOS-like design changes. The watchOS UI will be updated to match iOS 19, iOS 19 has a fresh look, but Apple isn’t planning a sweeping design overhaul. There will be some new interface elements inspired by visionOS, with an emphasis on translucency, glass finishes, subtle lighting effects, and circular buttons. The Apple Watch will also get a new set of features “powered by Apple Intelligence”, as the watch does not have RAM or storage to support Apple Intelligence options on the device. There is no news of a hardware update at this time, but Apple has introduced new Macs at WWDC in the past, and the only Mac that can make an appearance at WWDC is the new Mac Pro. Most other Macs have been updated recently, while those that haven’t, such as the MacBook Pro, won’t get an update until later in 2025.
