Fast Technology reported on May 29 that recently, Intel added four device IDs of Battlemage series GPUs to the Linux Mesa graphics driver, which means that Intel may be preparing to launch new GPU products.
The four new device IDs are 0xE220, 0xE221, 0xE222, and 0xE223, all of which are named “BMG”, but do not have a specific GPU chip model identification.
This is a different way of naming than in the past, as the previous Mesa PCI ID usually included a specific GPU chip name, such as “BMG-G21”.

The vague naming may be an attempt by Intel to maintain a sense of mystery about the release of next-generation GPUs, but it also suggests that at least four different Battlemage GPUs are in the pipeline.
It is speculated that at least two of the device IDs may correspond to Intel’s recently announced Arc Pro B50 and B60 workstation-class GPUs, which have just been unveiled at Computex, while the remaining two device IDs may belong to new products that have not yet been released.

One of them could be the long-rumored Arc B770, a GPU that could be released in the second half of 2025 and maybe even unveiled at Intel Innovation 2025.
The Arc B770 is thought to be Intel’s mid-to-high-end gaming GPU, with specs likely to be similar to the previous-gen A770, but based on a newer architecture, boasting 32 Xe cores and 256 bits of memory width.
These specs will significantly outperform the current B580’s 20 Xe cores and 160-bit memory bit width, with larger bit widths likely to support higher memory capacities of at least 16GB or more of GDDR6/GDDR6X memory.
In addition, if history repeats itself, Intel may launch a lite version of the B750 GPU at the same time.
